Forest Therapy Guided Walks take participants slowly and intentionally through Nature. The Guide gives a series of place-based invitations to connect to your senses, to yourself, and to others. Through the place-based invitations, the participant(s) gain a deeper appreciation of the many living and non-living things in the Washington Arboretum through moving slowly, and mindfully through the trails.
As the participant(s) moves around through the practice of Forest Therapy, they will gain a deep appreciation of the land in 20-30 minute increments of silent, reflective, and imaginative interaction with the area around them.
Since the walks are three hours, please make sure to dress in layers and possibly have a rain jacket or umbrella, if the weather indicates. Meet at Graham Visitors Center
