Town Hall Meeting with Mike McGinn

January 17, 2011 by Patricia Shannon-Garvey Leave a Comment

Mayor McGinn is coming to University Heights, 5031 University Way NE, Seattle  on Tuesday, January 25 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.  This will be a Town Hall style meeting.  People will be invited to come and ask questions.

For the hour before the Q & A begins, City Departments and community organizations are invited to staff tables in the hall to respond to people coming to the event.

All of you are invited to come and sit  at a table, distribute info you may have, answer questions and recruit members if that’s appropriate.

From Mayor’s Office staff, here is some additional info on set up, etc.

  1. We expect an audience of 100-120 people.
  2. Tables will just be starting to be unfolded and put in position at 4:30 on the 25th so participants should plan on arriving a little after 4:30.
  3. We are going to be in a compact space.  There is only room for 7 total Community Group tables. If more than 7 groups show up, folks will need to share table space.  Space will be on a first come, first served basis.

RSVP to Karen Ko @ Karen.ko@seattle.gov or 206.233.3732
