Mayor McGinn at Husky Cycling Club on Oct. 15

Mayor of Seattle Mike McGinn will be visiting Husky Cycling in front of the IMA on Montlake at 9:30am for a brief presentation and meet-and-greet with riders. There will be up to 100 UW students, staff, and faculty cyclists, as well as friends of the club and other members of the cycling community, present for the mayor’s visit.

Nathalie’s Travelogue

Nathalie Gehrke, a resident of Montlake since 1994, retired from the University of Washington College of Education in 2010. In 2011 she served as a Visiting Scientist at Zirve University in Gaziantep, Turkey, working on a grant from TUBITAK, the national research institute of Turkey. Gaziantep Is in the southern Anatolia region, about an hour’s drive from the Syrian border. Nathalie has written weekly reports to her family and friends during her 3-month stay.

UW Station Design Update: Community Meeting
