The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon wants Montlake to know about its new course for 2017. The race takes place on Sunday, June 18 and the impact to Montlake will be between 6 am and 9 am. Here is the complete message we received from race organizers:
I am the community relations coordinator for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle Marathon & Half Marathon coming up on Sunday, June 18. We have a new course for 2017 and I wanted to reach out to you in advance with some race information. I have attached a course map for you to look over. The impact to the Montlake area will be between 6:00am-9:00am. I will have more details soon as we start to prepare our road closure and access documents. If you would like we would be happy to come to one of your community meetings to talk through the course, impact, and answer any questions anyone may have.
