Neighbors needed!
The Montlake Community Club is looking for volunteers to help organize the 2nd annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. Volunteering is a terrific way to meet Montlake neighbors, and help the University District Food Bank. Last year, the Montlake 5K Turkey Trot & Kids Fun Run raised $10,000 for the Food Bank– we hope to more than double our donation this year!
All volunteers will receive a free Turkey Trot t-shirt! As a special thanks to Turkey Trot volunteers, everyone who signs up to help with the race prior to Oct. 31 will receive a promo code valid for a 25% discount on race registration— for yourself (if volunteer schedule allows) and up to 4 friends and family members.
Let’s do this.
Opportunities abound! Assist with course signs and cones, water stations, course monitoring, garbage collection, or help with the Kids Fun Run. This is a great opportunity for students who need service hours.
