The Seattle Office of Emergency Management will be having a special Neighborhood Emergency Planning meeting at the Montlake Community Center on Tuesday March 24 from 6pm – 8pm. Topics will include: How to become part of a SNAP (Seattle Neighborhoods Actively Prepare) group, the Block Watch Program, and getting involved in a Community Hub. Hubs are Seattle neighborhood groups that work together to share information and help each other in a major emergency.
Please note: The Montlake Block Watch meeting that was also scheduled for March 24 from 6pm – 8pm at the Montlake library branch has been cancelled and will be rescheduled in the near future so that everyone can attend the SNAP/Hub meeting instead.
