    Would it be best not to bring my dog into the Arboretum? He is on leach and is small but none the less, it doesn’t seem right.

      Anita, I believe dogs on a leash on land with an owner are fine. I have read that otters prefer to be active when people are not around. My concern was for the off-leash dogs that love to swim out into the bay by themselves. I do think the otter as an advantage in the water.
