Kathleen Laughman says
Please stop by the Montlake Community Club information table to review our proposed conceptual plans to make the community more cohesive with safe access for all of us to the Arboretum, local businesses and our Montlake School. See you the March 22 meeting.
Jeff Albertson says
I’d second Paul’s question – is the notion of reducing the arterial to two general purpose lanes and a center turn lane still (even remotely) on the table? While I know there’s some scattered support for this, particularly among some active MCC participants and perhaps a few owners in the business district, the general response I’ve heard from talking to my Montlake neighbors or others who travel through the area is that this would be sheer madness.
Paul Freiburger says
Is there still a proposal to restrict traffic flow on 24th/Montlake Blvd.? If so, will that be covered at this meeting. If that is the case I hope there is a big turnout so the city can hear that most of Montlake thinks that is a bad idea.
