Good day and Happy New Year friends, families and neighbors of Montlake Elementary!
Shake off the holiday laze, and start off the new year invigorated by viewing work by our inspiring local young artists and future leaders of tomorrow! Feeling the lack of sun or just jaded by world news? Find hope in small sculpted fingerprints and hand sewn wide stitches! Smile at self portraits with missing teeth and uni-brows! Feel good again if only for a fleeting moment!
During the month of January pack the family up and travel downtown to behold hundreds of original masterworks, including drawing, painting, sculpture and textile by Montlake’s prolific kindergarten through 5th grade students.
New Work from Montlake is our 4th and final show in the Community Corridor at SAM and runs through the month of January. Ticket price is free and for a very limited time-look for the provocative The Montlake Review stocked in the gift shop!
Thank you for your continued and most generous support of our sweet neighborhood public school!
