Thanks for your comment. Appreciate your desire to address the challenge of the homeless population. Would love to have a conversation about your interests and the MCC. Please reach out to me directly at hjhardin@gmail.com and we can find time for a call or zoom at your convenience.
I have lived here for 36 years and was happy to get the latest Montlake Flyer. I have but a single comment: I would make a significant contribution if it were earmarked for homeless people. I am so saddened to see these poor souls all over Seattle (but not Montlake, for some reason) in this miserable weather, dying from exposure and disease, without housing or medical care. One mini-house (wherever it is) is insufficient. This neighborhood is supposed to be liberal and wealthy but it is also very white and elitist. The Turkey Trot is nice but i am atheist and do not want to pay for Xmas lights. Please try to do something substantial for those who do vote and are society’s discards.
