Are you aware that you are automatically a member of Montlake Community Club (MCC) as a resident of Montlake?
During the Covid days, community activities went down, but we are gearing up to revitalize community engagement in Montlake through MCC. We are calling for individuals who want to join the board! So many of you have so much love for Montlake and a lot to offer our community. The most important thing is that you care about our community, Montlake. What else is required? There is one monthly board meeting, participation in various events / committees as you wish, and you can even initiate activities of your interest for the community. This is your opportunity to bring your fresh ideas to make an impact on your community. If you have specific skills, such as social media/communications, civic engagement and advocacy, non-profit governance, or event planning, MCC will certainly benefit a lot from your active participation.
This summer, we are having elections for President (2-year-term), Treasurer (2-year-term), VP (special election: 1-year-term). We will also submit the names of our Board trustees for community approval (1-year-term). It will be wonderful to add your name on the list!
