The Cloney Harris Plant Nursery is located in the Arboretum, practically next door. It is a great place to purchase plants as well as to donate your extra perennials and shrubs. We sell them to the public and all money raised benefits the Arboretum Foundation. Come see what is new!

Petition for construction options of 520 viaduct across Portage Bay

We are asking Governor Inslee to intervene and direct WSDOT to consider faster, less expensive and lower impact construction approaches for replacement of the SR 520 viaduct across Portage Bay.
Taxpayers will save money and we will all be better off if SR 520 is built from barges rather than work bridges. The State’s current approach will cause large and unnecessary traffic, noise and vibration impacts in our neighborhoods.
Please review the petition link below and sign online if you agree. Sharing with any taxpayer in the state and country will help send a message about this spending of local and federal tax dollars in ways that unnecessarily impact neighborhoods.

Shop to Support Glam and Tonics!
As many of you may have heard, around 2am Monday, Glam and Tonics was broken into and burglarized. They took thousands of dollars worth of products at one of the busiest times of the year. Many neighbors have asked how they can help Juan. His answer is simple. Continue to book appointments and come in and shop! To kick start this, today Glam and Tonics are having a “Shop to support our shop Day”. So come by, say hi, and do some holiday shopping. Tell your friends and family, and share it on social media.
For those that might be new to our little neighborhood, Juan has been a steady and strong supporter of our community. He has served on the Montlake Community Club board, helped started the Montlake Turkey Trot (he even designed the current logo), donated time, products, and services to community and school fundraisers, and shown up to volunteer for many events. Let’s show him how much he means to us and support him during this difficult time!
