Haiku Day at the Seattle Japanese Garden @ Seattle Japanese Garden | Seattle | Washington | United States

Join the Seattle Japanese Garden and Haiku Northwest for a day of poetry in the garden! Learn about the traditional Japanese poetry style of haiku, and even write your own haiku inspired by the beauty of nature.
Featuring live haiku readings and by Haiku Northwest and Rainier Haiku Ginsha. There will be two haiku writing workships, a haiku writing walk through the garden, and arts and crafts for all ages!
Trained guides will be available to give complimentary tours of the Seattle Japanese Garden, deepening the experience of strolling the garden by sharing insights on the garden’s history, design and spiritual principles. The 45-minute tours begin at the ticket booth starting at 12:30 and 2 p.m
Admission is $6 adults; $4 youth 6 -17, students with ID, and seniors 65+; kids 5 and under are free.
