HAUNTLAKE – CAPTAIN BLAINE’S MAP

Trick or Treat Street – 2236 East Blaine Street 

Drop by day or night to visit the Skeleton Pirates & Captain Blaine’s Treasure at Trick or Treat House in the Hauntlake Cemetery. Please consider making a canned food donation which may be placed inside the Graveside Red Treasure Chest or left on the front steps. On Halloween night, legend says Captain Blaine’s buried treasure will be revealed to neighborhood Trick or Treaters along with goodies and surprises handed out Phil Angeez & Skull (James & Don).

5:30 – 8:30 pm

Join neighbors for a bewitching night at Montlake Community Center’s the annual Halloween Carnival!  The fun night will be filler with music, carnival games, face painting and plenty of tricks & treats for the whole family. Costumes are encouraged but not required. The Center will be accepting canned food to donate to a local food bank. $3 per person, $10 per family of 4

The Coop hosts their annual Halloween party full of crafts, cookie decorating & snacks for all. Costumes are welcome, but not required.

Jim Roe, a Montlake resident who was dedicated to serving the community, passed away unexpectedly in June of 2015.  To honor Jim and share his love of reading, his wife Martha Cohen has built a Little Free Lending Library in front of their home. Please join Martha and friends for a small celebration of Jim and the Little Free Lending Library.

The Market is giving out free Hot Chocolate and Coffee as well as candy for Trick or Treaters from 3 pm to 8 pm at Montlake BLVD Market.

It’s $10 pizza night at Cafe Lago – perfect for families to enjoy a pre – trick or treating pizza dinner.

15th Annual Trick or Treat House Display and Food Drive

IMG_3739-1The 15th Annual Trick or Treat House display and Halloween Food Drive are all set up and ready for viewing. The Skeleton Pirates invite you to drop by day or night to see Captain Blaine’s Treasure in the Hauntlake Cemetery.

Please consider making a food donation to Lifelong/Chicken Soup Brigade.

Food Donations may be placed inside the Graveside Red Treasure Chest or left on the front steps at 2236 Trick or Treat Street (East Blaine Street), anytime now through November 2, 2016.

The 14th Annual Trick or Treat House display and Halloween Food Drive are all set up and ready for viewing. The Skeletons at Trick or Treat House have set up a Creepy & Colorful Bake Sale in the Hauntlake Cemetery. They are also collecting Canned Food Donations for Chicken Soup Brigade before the whole piece becomes Performance Art as Phil Angeez & Skull (James & Don) hand out goodies and surprises to 650+ neighborhood Trick or Treaters.

IMG_2390Please consider making a food donation when you visit the spooky bake sale. Donations may be deposited graveside cabinet or left on the front steps at 2236 Trick or Treat Street (East Blaine Street), anytime now through November 2, 2015.

Donation Grocery Wish List – Items that they need the most:

  • Canned fruits and vegetables
  • Whole grain cereals
  • Nuts, seeds, dried fruit, trail mix, or granola bars
  • Canned tuna, chicken, salmon
  • Whole grains & Rice
  • Low-sodium soups, chilis and canned or dry beans

13th Annual Trick or Treat House Display & Halloween Food Drive 2014

The 13th Annual Trick or Treat House display and Halloween Food Drive are all set up and ready for viewing. The Skeletons invite you to drop by day or night to see the Food Drive Queen and the Princesses of her Royal Food Court in the Hauntlake Cemetery.

Please consider making a food donation to Lifelong/Chicken Soup Brigade.

Food Donations may be placed inside the Graveside Cabinet or left on the front steps at 2236 Trick or Treat Street (East Blaine Street), anytime now through November 2, 2014.

trioWe hand out candy & goodies to 650+ Trick or Treaters on Halloween night. Even if everyone brought just one food item to donate that night, the donation totals would be Fantastic ! But you don’t have to wait until Halloween night to drop off a can or several. In fact, our amazing neighbors have already donated close to 100 canned good items !
