MONTLAKE RESIDENT CELEBRATES 100TH BIRTHDAY
Annaliese with her Daughter and Grand Daughter
Longtime Montlake neighborhood resident Annaliese Boehmer will celebrate her 100th birthday on November 5th.
A former nurse at St. Cabrini Hospital and the widow of Herbert Boehmer, late University of Washington engineering professor and KING 5 program host, Annaliese has resided in her E. Louisa home for 60 years.
She was born in Hoexter, Germany and a first marriage was blessed with 2 daughters. Following WW II, she immigrated, wed Herbert and they had a son.
Her family encourage those who wish to extend their congratulations to drop by for cake between 3pm and 5pm on the day. Guests will travel from far and wide to join the festivities, which culminate with a private dinner at the Sorrento Hotel.
Thank you,

The Montlake Community Club owns these parks and they must have volunteer maintenance to keep them as green spaces for the Montlake community. Extensive renovation efforts by volunteers has reclaimed them from an unsightly mess of brambles and weeds.
The S.E. corner park has seen much progress this year. Six beds of northwest natives have been planted, and plans are in work for a traversing path and additional plantings of northwest natives.
We will be weeding, raking, and cleaning both parks to prepare them for fall.
We need your help
