Come Sunday, September 27 at 6pm, Café Lago will celebrate their 25th anniversary with a unique, 5-course Italian Family Big Sunday Meal with very special guest chef, Armandino Batali, Co-Founder and Principal Salumist of Salumi Artisan Cured Meats.
In true Italian fashion, this grand, 5-course meal will be one to remember.
Guests will begin the evening with cocktail hour featuring options from the Lago Negroni, Prosecco, white and red wines, and beer. Following the generous variety of aperitifs, the dinner will kick off with Burrata featuring prosciutto, house pickled vegetables and olives.
Next will be Armandino Batali’s Timpano made at Café Lago. The Timpano is a unique dish made famous by the 1996 hit Stanley Tucci film “Big Night.”
A light Chicory Salad will follow the Timpano and the meal will be topped off with a Roast Beef and Marrow with a plethora of roasted and braised vegetables. Finally, the dessert will be a Tiramisu rounded out with dessert wine and coffee.
Tickets are $175 per person and include everything from cocktails, beer, food, tax and gratuity.
