UW Husky Football Game Blackout Game Vs Arizona Husky Stadium Kick-off 8:00 pm
Come participate in one of Seattle’s best traditions and cheer on the Huskies as they take on world-class competition, with the World Champion Men’s New Zealand Rowing Team and traditional power Columbia Heavyweight Rowing coming to face the UW men’s crew, and No. 3 Virginia matching up against the No. 4 UW women’s crew.
Watch all the action this Saturday, May 2, on the Montlake Cut with races beginning at 10:20 a.m.
In addition to the competition, the Windermere Cup is a family-friendly community event that is part of the Seattle Yacht Club’s Opening Day Festivities. Food vendors, booths to purchase Washington apparel and Windermere Cup commemorative gear, as well as a bouncy house will be located on the northwest side of the Montlake Cut behind the UW Medical Center.
Other special attractions this year include a Stan Pocock Memorial Row through the Cut to honor the late rowing legend at the conclusion of the races, followed by a helicopter flyover conducted by the U.S. Army at the beginning of the Opening Day Parade.

Come cheer on the Husky men’s and women’s crews as they face their biggest rival, the California Bears, this Saturday on the Montlake Cut. Racing goes from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. rain or shine!
The New York Times bestselling book, The Boys in the Boat, has recast the spotlight on the fierce rivalry between Washington and Cal. The rowing powers will go head to head this Saturday for the 104th time in a regatta that played a central role in the book.
Fans are encouraged to watch the races from Canoe House at the NE end of the Montlake Cut, the Montlake Bridge or at the Finish Line at the west end of the Cut at West Montlake Park near the Seattle Yacht Club. If you can’t make it to the Cut, tune into the live stream of the races online.
It’s a fun family event and an opportunity to see the four-time defending National Champions UW men’s crew in action.
The Windermere Cup is up next on May 2.

Fans are encouraged to watch from the Montlake Cut and at the Finish Line at the west end of the Cut at West Montlake Park near the Seattle Yacht Club.
It’s a fun family event and an opportunity to see the four-time defending National Champions men’s crew in action.
This is one of only four home races for the Huskies this season. Mark your calendar for the other home races: Husky Open on April 4; the Cal Dual on April 25; and the Windermere Cup on May 2.
