Friendly Earth Free Electronic Recycling Event at St. Joseph Parish
Friendly Earth Non- Profit Recycling Organization will be holding a free Electronics Recycling Event at the St. Joseph Parish Church in Seattle.
We will have collection booths set up in the church accepting donations of electronics, appliances and scrap metals free of charge. Some examples would be old computers and parts, hair dryers, printers, refrigerators, washers and dryers, cords, cables, cell phones, gaming systems, televisions, radios, cars, bikes etc. We will also be accepting unusually large appliances, all for free. Our goal is to reuse, recycle, refurbish and salvage everything.
This event will take place, Saturday, October 8th, 2011, from 9:30 am- 3:30 pm. St. Joseph Parish Church is located at, 732 18th Avenue East Seattle, WA 98112.

Hm. The Friendly Earth people sent us a press release last month with the date as the 8th, but you’re right: Both their website and St. Joe’s site now say the 9th. I’ll update the article accordingly.

In honor of the feast of St. Francis of Assisi (Oct. 4) Eco-Justice Ministry and Friendly Earth, a non- profit recycling organization, are sponsoring a free Electronics Recycling Event, Sunday, October 9 from 8:30-3:30 pm in the St. Joseph’s parking lot.
