Help organize the 2nd annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. Volunteering is a terrific way to meet Montlake neighbors, and help the University District Food Bank.Last year, the Montlake 5K Turkey Trot & Kids Fun Run raised $10,000 for the Food Bank– we hope to more than double our donation this year!
- All volunteers will receive a free Turkey Trot t-shirt!
- As a special thanks to Turkey Trot volunteers, everyone who signs up to help with the race prior to Oct. 31 will receive a promo code valid for a 25% discount on race registration— for yourself (if volunteer schedule allows) and up to 4 friends and family members.
Opportunities abound! There are many ways to help: choose one or more shifts either on Thanksgiving morning (race day) or prior to the event. Assist with course signs and cones, water stations, course monitoring, garbage collection, or help with the Kids Fun Run.
This is a great opportunity for students who need service hours.
