Sanctuary

April 8, 2018 by Larry Hubbell 4 Comments

Have you ever considered devoting your yard to wildlife? If our yards were designed with nature in mind, I suspect we would find that they become sanctuaries for us, as well.

Union Bay Watch

Have a great day on Union Bay…where nature lives in the city!

    Hi,
Have you seen the eagles nesting in the trees at the end of the Montlake Cut? We see them from our window! Can only see the head when she’s down in the nest.

      Susan,

Yes! With a little help, I was lucky enough to first notice them about four months ago. I am planning to publish their story with photos, next week. Please stay tuned.

I agree! The birds who came to your feeders were a source of joy each time I passed by your yard. I sincerely hope you are finding a way to enjoy nature in your new location! All the best, Larry
