Can we identify individual Red-breasted Sapsuckers? More in this week’s post on:

Union Bay Watch

Have a great day on Union Bay…where nature lives in the City and Black Birders are welcomes!

Hi Larry – FYI that my sister has heard what appears to be a great horned owl for two evenings (about 7:30pm) in a row. In a big tree at corner of 21st and Highland. I have heard it in Interlaken Park – seems to be in the vicinity of the Hebrew Academy. Exciting!

Thank you for the update. A Great-horned Owl is unusual but not unheard of in our area. I will keep my eyes (and ears) open. Thanks!
