Adrian Xavier blends solid reggae dub sounds into genre-bending projects, creating music that inspires listeners of all tastes.
His performance is part of the Arboretum@90 event series. Come celebrate the 90th birthday of this treasured park and plant collection with complimentary music and a sweet treat!
All ages welcome! The performance will take place at the Graham Visitors Center. Some seating will be provided, but feel free to bring your own folding chair.

Free Chamber Music on Crabapple Meadow: June 28
Come to Crabapple Meadow in Washington Park Arboretum on Friday, June 28, from noon to 1 p.m., to enjoy a FREE, live, lunchtime performance of classical music by the Seattle Chamber Music Society – on stage in their Concert Truck.
Listen to works by Gabriel Fauré, Maurice Ravel, Clara Schumann, Florence Price, and more.
As part of the Arboretum’s year-long 90th birthday celebration series, the event will also feature a cupcake giveaway, free tram rides around the Loop Trail, a scavenger hunt, and more.

An Extra-Special Earth Day at the Arboretum: April 20
On Saturday, April 20, the Arboretum Foundation, UW Botanic Gardens, and Seattle Parks and Recreation will co-host their annual Earth Day community work-service event at the Arboretum.
From 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., volunteers will help restore the park by removing invasive ivy and blackberry in natural areas, and by mulching and weeding the plant collections!
Please join the restoration effort! You must be 15 years or older to participate! Pre-registration is required. Volunteer here.
To celebrate the Arboretum’s 90th birthday this year, all volunteers will receive a complimentary cupcake!
Then in the afternoon, the Arboretum partners will host some free 90th-birthday activities for all, including hop-on, hop-off tram rides around the Loop Trail (2 to 4 p.m.) and a pollinator education station at the Graham Visitors Center (noon to 4 p.m.) — and more free cupcakes!

Arboretum Spring Plant Sale Returns April 14
The Arboretum’s beloved annual spring plant sale returns on Sunday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hosted by the wonderful volunteers at the Arboretum’s on-site Cloney-Harris Plant Nursery and Pat Calvert Greenhouse, it features a unique selection of perennials, shrubs, and young trees.
Come see the stunning cherries and dogwoods blooming along Azalea Way, then stop in at the sale to find beautiful plants for your own garden! All sales benefit core environmental education, tree care, and volunteer programs at the Arboretum.

Arboretum Holiday Market Returns December 2 and 3
The Arboretum Foundation’s beloved annual holiday sale, Gifts & Greens Galore, returns to the Graham Visitors Center on Saturday, December 2, and Sunday, December 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
It features a great selection of botanical decorations and nature-inspired gifts, including many local, seasonal specialty items. You’ll find everything from handcrafted wreaths and whimsical tree ornaments to botanical jewelry and locally sourced honey.
Shop for everyone on your list, while helping support tree care, environmental education, and volunteerism at the Washington Park Arboretum.
Arboretum Fall Plant Sale & Public Art Celebration This Sunday!
Planting season is here, so don’t miss the Arboretum’s annual Fall Plant Sale at the Graham Visitors Center this Sunday, September 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Shop a unique selection of trees, shrubs, ferns, perennials, ornamental grasses, and nature-themed gifts while supporting environmental education, tree care, and volunteer programs at the Arboretum.
This year’s sale coincides with the public celebration of UNION, a stunning largescale outdoor sculpture in the Arboretum created by Seattle-based artist John Grade. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., enjoy free tours of the artwork, live music, food trucks, and more.
