Petition for construction options of 520 viaduct across Portage Bay
Please consider signing this petition started by our friends in Portage Bay:
https://www.change.org/Build520Faster
We are asking Governor Inslee to intervene and direct WSDOT to consider faster, less expensive and lower impact construction approaches for replacement of the SR 520 viaduct across Portage Bay.
Taxpayers will save money and we will all be better off if SR 520 is built from barges rather than work bridges. The State’s current approach will cause large and unnecessary traffic, noise and vibration impacts in our neighborhoods.
Please review the petition link below and sign online if you agree. Sharing with any taxpayer in the state and country will help send a message about this spending of local and federal tax dollars in ways that unnecessarily impact neighborhoods.
We have 510 signatures so far, lets continue sending a strong message to Governor Inslee!
