Gateway Parks Spring Weeding Party

Gateway Parks were the recipient of Prep’s Earth Days spring cleanup this year, and will be visited by many walkers this summer. These parks are located at 24^th and Boyer Avenue East.

Montlake community volunteers built these parks, the west side in 1900, and the east side in 2000.  They are lovely pocket parks and are maintained by volunteers from our community for neighborhood walking enjoyment and safety.

The parks need another round of spring weeding.   Please join me for a weeding work party, a couple of hours or so.  Bring weeders, and gloves. Refreshments will be provided, our tradition of Safeway cookies and cocoa.  It will be fun.

We will meet at East Gateway Park.
